Mohammad Obaidul Hoque

Mohammad Obaidul Hoque is an Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Hoque received his B.D.S and D.D.S degrees from Dhaka University, Bangladesh. After obtaining his Ph.D. degree in molecular biology from Tokushima University Japan, he relocated to Johns Hopkins University and completed a fellowship in cancer genetics and epigenetics with Dr. Sidransky, a world renowned scientist in biomarker development. Dr. Hoque is the principal Investigator and coinvestigator of several grants related to biomarkers development. He has published over 69 studies in high-quality journals, and his central focus of research is in the area of cancer biology and biomarker development for genitourinary, breast, and lung cancer.
