Nora Okulik

Nora Beatriz Okulik is full professor in Inorganic Chemistry. She is an engineer and received his Ph.D. from Facultad de Ingeniería of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 2002 with Prof. A.H. Jubert and Prof. Reinaldo Pis Diez. Her research interests are in the field of the molecular aspects of heterogeneous catalysis with the following two main themes: computational studies of surface-chemical reactivity and mechanism in heterogeneous catalysis. She is a member of the career researcher of Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas, CONICET, Argentina. In 2005 she became director of the Chemistry Engineer Career. Since 2010 she is director of a research group in heterogeneous catalysis in the Departamento de Ciencias Básicas y Aplicadas of the Universidad Nacional del Chaco Austral.
