Ruhan Zhao received his Ph.D. degree in 1996 from the University of Joensuu in Finland. From 1997 to 1998 he worked at the Kyoto University as a Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science Postdoctoral Fellow (JSPS). Since 1999 he has been serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at several universities in USA, including the University of Montana, the University of Virginia, the University of Cincinnati, and the University of Toledo. Zhao is now an Associate Professor at SUNY Brockport. His areas of expertise include analytic function spaces and operator theory on analytic function spaces.
