Daniel Chua graduated from the Medical School of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1989 and obtained his specialist qualification in clinical oncology in 1994. Shortly after obtaining his specialist qualification, Dr. Chua joined the Department of Clinical Oncology, the University of Hong Kong as a Clinical Associate Professor. His main research interests are in the area of head and neck cancer, lung cancer, precision radiotherapy, immune intervention, and molecular-targeted therapy. He published more than 125 original articles, abstracts, and book chapters. Dr. Chua serves on four Editorial Boards and as a regular reviewer of 23 scientific journals. He is currently the President of Hong Kong Head and Neck Society, of Council Members of Hong Kong College of Radiologists, and of Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society.
