Masaya Okura

Masaya Okura received his D.D.S. and the Ph.D. degrees in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Osaka University. He served at the Ben May Department for Cancer Research, Center for Molecular Oncology, the University of Chicago. He is Associate Professor and Director of the Oral Cancer Program, the First Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry. He also serves as an Instructor at the Osaka Health Science University. He is a Fellow of the Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofaical Surgery and the Japanese Society of Clinical Oncology. He has a Surgical Instructor diploma, a Tentative Instructor of Clinical Oncology diploma from the Japanese Board of Cancer Therapy, and is a Japanese Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He lectures on the surgical management of oral cavity malignancies and is actively involved in both basic, translational, and clinical research in oral cavity cancer.
