Mehdi Ghatee was born in Shiraz, Iran. He entered the Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2003. In 2009, he earned his Ph.D. degree from the Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. Now, he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the Amirkabir University of Technology. His major is soft computing, intelligent systems, intelligent transportation systems, decision support system, neural network, public transportation, and network optimization. He has written more than 45 papers on national and international journals and conferences. He is the Project Manager of the Nation Plan for Intelligent Transportation System Architecture in Iran. Also, he was the Project Manager at the Intelligent Transportation Systems Research Institute for two great projects on transportation, public transportation, and traffic management. He has also founded M.S. degree virtual education program in computer science at the Amirkabir University of Technology. In addition, he is an Informatics Manager at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
