Vladimir Mlynarik holds Ph.D. and D.S. degrees. He serves since 2005 as a Senior Research Associate at Center of Biomedical Imaging, EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland. He holds Memberships in International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and in European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology. His fields of research include development of methods for MR imaging and spectroscopy, normal and pathologic neurochemistry in animals, MR imaging techniques for detecting early stages of degeneration in articular cartilage, dynamic processes, and relaxation in tissues. Mlynarik (co)authored 105 papers in peer-reviewed international journals as well as several book chapters, proceedings, and a lot of abstracts. He supervised two scientific projects.
