Mabrouk Benhamou obtained his first Ph.D. degree in quantum field theory in SPhT of Saclay, France, in 1984, His second Ph.D. degree was in statistical mechanics of polymers at SPhT of Saclay, France, in 1987. He is Professor of physics in Hassan II-Mohammedia, Casablanca, Morocco, and in Moulay Ismail University of Morocco, Morocco. His research areas include polymer physics, statistical mechanics, quantum field theory, soft-condensed matter, critical phenomena, and biological systems. Benhamou is an author of more than 200 publications and many textbooks, supervisor of more than forty theses, and an editor of many international journals. He received many awards and distinctions.
