Jörgen Ahlberg
Jörgen Ahlberg was born in 1971 in Karlstad,
Sweden. He received his M.S. in computer
science and engineering at Linköping
University, Sweden, in 1996, and joined the
Image Coding Group as a Ph.D. student in
the same year. Since then, he has been undertaking
research in compression of face
model parameters for model-based coding,
facial feature extraction, evaluation of face
models, and face and facial feature tracking.
He was also an active participant in the development of MPEG-4
Face Animation. In 1999, he was a visiting researcher at Université
de Technologie de Compiègne, France. Currently he is finishing his
Ph.D. studies at the Image Coding Group.
