Yu-Long Li is an Associate Professor in Department of Emergency medicine, and also is a Courtesy Associate Professor in Department of Cellular & Integrative Physiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree in physiology from Hebei Medical University, China. He is interested in exploring potential cellular and molecular mechanisms responsible for the cardiovascular dysfunction and attenuated autonomic nervous function in pathophysiological states such as diabetes, heart failure, and hypertension. He has been active in this research field for 25 years and has published over 70 research papers in the most highly regarded journals. His research has been funded by the National Institute of Health and the American Heart Association. He is serving as reviewer for several journals like Hypertension, Cardiovasc Res, Molecular Neurodegeneration, Am J Physiol, and so forth. He is a member of the American Physiological Society and the American Heart Association. He received Research Recognition Award from the American Physiological Society.
