Kun Cheng works as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Missouri, Kan, USA. Dr. Cheng received his Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, Tenn, USA. His current research focuses on the development of novel drug delivery systems for targeted drug delivery, development of peptide modified prodrugs for thermotherapy, therapeutic applications of sirNA for treatment of cancer, liver diseases and type I diabetes. His research has been supported by the Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Institute of Health (NIH). He is the Recipient of the 2011 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) New Investigator Grant Award in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology.
