Jean-Marc Dumonceau

Jean-Marc Dumonceau was born in Charleroi, Belgium, in 1964. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the Free University of Brussels (ULB), Brussels, Belgium, in 1988 and 1997, respectively. Since 1992, Jean-Marc Dumonceau has specialized into interventional endoscopy, with a particular focus on the extrahepatic bile ducts and the pancreas. As of April 2008, he is also Privat-Docent at the University of Geneva, where he is currently working in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Service. He is an internationally recognized expert on interventional endoscopy and he serves on the editorial board of several Endoscopy Journals.
