Marco Grassi

Marco Grassi was born in Pavia, Italy, in 1976. He graduated in electronic engineering at University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy, in 2002 and pursued the Ph. D. degree in electrical engineering science at the same university in 2006. During 2001 he has served as an Internship Coop Graduating Fellow in the Data Converters Group, Texas Instruments Inc., Dallas, Tex, USA. Since 2006, Grassi works as a Research Associate in the Sensors and Microsystems Laboratory (SMS) of the Department of Electrical Engineering (now Dipartimento di Ingegneria Industriale e dell’Informazione) at University of Pavia. His research activity is mainly focused on smart sensor interfaces and, in particular, on detector read-out circuits. Grassi serves as a teaching assistant of mechanical and thermal measurements and Principal consultant engineer for a microelectronics company. He is the author of 10 book chapters, of 11 papers published in international journals, and of more than 50 papers presented at international conferences. He received the Best Oral Presentation Award at AISEM 2009. He is a Member of IEEE and AES.
