Pu Zhang

Pu Zhang was born in Anhui, China, in 1962. He received the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from Beijing Normal University, China in 1991. From 1991 till 1993, he was a Postdoctoral in the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). From 1994 till 1996, he was a Humboldt Research Fellow at Universität Bielefeld and TU Chemnitz, Germany. From 1998 to 2003, Dr. Zhang was a Professor at USTC, and since 2004 a Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He was a Visiting Professor at Virginia Tech, Va, USA and at Antwerp University, Belguim and a Directeur de Recherche of CNRS at Montpellier University 2. He is mainly interested in representation theory of algebras, homological algebra, and triangulated categories. He is a Member of Centre International de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées and an Associate Editor of the Far East Journal of Mathematical Sciences and of Theoretical Math.
