Ching-Shwun Lin obtained his B.S. degree in veterinary medicine from National Taiwan University, Taipei City, Taiwan, and the Ph.D. degree in microbiology from University of Iowa, Iowa, USA. Currently, he works as a Professor at the Department of Urology, University of California, San Francisco, USA, and Director at Molecular Urology Lab of the same university. In addition, Lin holds the position of Visiting Professor at Peking University, China, and Chair Professor at Fu-Jen Catholic University, Taiwan. His research interests include stem cells, erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence, diabetes, vascular biology, gene regulation, phosphodiesterase, integrin, cytoskeleton, steroid receptors, prostate cancer, priapism, Peyronie’s disease, gene therapy, growth factors, cytokines, beta cells, and herbal medicine. Lin has published 158 peer-reviewed articles, 6 book chapters, and 9 editorial articles.
