Sylvie Giuriato

Sylvie Giuriato was born in Toulouse, France, in 1972. She received her Ph.D. degree from the Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse III, in 1999. From 1999 to 2008, her research training was performed in three different laboratories in Belgium (1999-2001), USA (2001-2004), and France (2004-2008). Since 2008, she works as an INSERM Full-Time Research Scientist. Her research interest focuses on understanding the mechanisms of tumor development and regression and relapse and the involvement and regulation of angiogenesis in these events. Her experimental approach used the tetracycline system to create conditional mouse models for ALK- (Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase-) induced lymphomagenesis.
