Brooks D. Cash
Brooks D. Cash is an Associate Professor at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS), Bethesda, Md, USA, and an Integrated Chief of medicine at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Md, USA, and Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Wash, USA. He received his M.D. degree from the Uniformed Servies University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) and completed his internship, residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Md, USA. Dr. Cash is a Fellow of the AGA, the ACG, and the American College of Physicians and a Member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He serves as an Associate Editor for the American Journal of Gastroenterology and sits on the editorial advisory board for several other peer-reviewd publications. Dr. Cash is the author or coauthor of more than 80 research reports, review articles, book chapters, and abstracts. He has given numerous invited presentations at grand rounds programs and national meetings and symposia. He is the primary investigator for multiple ongoing research studies regarding functional bowel disease, GERD, and CT colonography.
