Sebastien Fiorucci

Nice Sophia Antipolis University, France

Sébastien Fiorucci works as an Assistant Professor in Nice Sophia Antipolis University, France. He has received his Ph.D. degree in theoretical chemistry in 2006. His research activities include the use of molecular modeling methods, from quantum chemistry to molecular dynamics as well as bioinformatic techniques to describe chemical and biological systems. He developed new docking protocols (ptools docking program) based on coarse grained models (attract force fields) to understand the association of protein-protein complexes. As main application, he tries to decipher the molecular basis of chemosensory perception (olfaction and taste).
