Weihai Zhang
Weihai Zhang was born in China. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Applied Mathematics in 1998. From August 1998 to May 2001, he worked at Shandong Institute of Light Industry as an Associate Professor. He served as a Postdoctoral Researcher from May 2001 to July 2003 at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. He rejoined Shandong Institute of Light Industry in August 2003 as a Professor. From November 2006 to May 2007, he visited Nanyang Technological University as a Visiting Research Scientist. He works currently as a Professor at Shandong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include linear and nonlinear stochastic optimal control, robust H infinity control, stochastic stability, and systems biology. Currently, he serves as an Editorial Board Member for International Journal of Systems and Synthetic Biology and as an Associate Editor for Asian Journal of Control and Conference Editorial Board of IEEE Control Systems Society. One of his representative papers has been selected as a featured fast-moving front paper by Thomson Reuters Science Watch and has been selected as the most-cited paper in the research area of mathematics by Essential Science Indicator from Thomson Reuters.
