Gleb Yu. Yurkov

Gleb Yurjevich Yurkov was born in Grozny in 1976. In 1998, he graduated from the N.G. Chernishevskiy Saratov State University, Saratov, Russia. He received his Ph.D. degree in inorganic chemistry in 2002 at N.S. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences. He received his D.S. degree in composite technology in 2009. He is currently a Leading Researcher at the Physicochemical Analysis of Ceramic Materials Laboratory at AA Baikov Institute of Metallurgy and Material Sciences, Russian Academy of Sciences. His main research interests include the inorganic chemistry, stabilization of nanoparticles, the synthesis and investigation of gomo and geterometallic nanoparticles, and composite materials on the basis of nanoparticles and matrixes (polymers and ceramics). His research has been reported in more than 100 articles in international and Russian scientific journals, 5 chapters in books, and 4 textbooks.
