Bianca Maria Colosimo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano, Italy, where she received both her M.S. degree in industrial engineering and her Ph.D. degree in manufacturing and production systems. She is a Member of the Editorial board of Journal of Quality Technology. Her actual research interest is mainly in the area of quality monitoring and process adjustment, with special attention to discrete part manufacturing and adoption of Bayesian approaches in these areas. Her minor research activity is devoted to manufacturing process optimization.
