Qinghua Cui

Peking University, China

Dr. Qinghua Cui is a professor of bioinformatics at Peking University Health Science Center, China. Prof. Cui mainly focuses on the bioinformatics of noncoding RNAs for a long time. He published a number of bioinformatic papers on journals such as Trends in Molecular Medicine, Trends in Genetics, Molecular Systems Biology, Bioinformatics, Nucleic Acids Research, Briefings in Bioinformatics etc. His group developed a number of bioinformatic methods, tools, and databases for miRNAs and lncRNAs, especially the analysis of miRNA/lncRNA associated diseases and functions, for example the human microRNA disease database (HMDD, http://cmbi.bjmu.edu.cn/hmdd) and lncRNA-associated disease database (LncRNADisease, http://cmbi.bjmu.edu.cn/lncrnadisease).
