Hiroyuki Usui is an Associate Professor of Applied Chemistry Course, Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, Graduate School of Engineering, Tottori University. In 2003, he has received Ph.D. degree from Kagoshima University. He has worked at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science of Technology, Kobe University, and Research Institute for Electric and Magnetic Materials, in Japan. In 2011, he received Outstanding Paper Award from The Electrochemical Society of Japan. In 2013, he received Young Investigator Award for the Progress of New Chemical Technology (by Japan Association for Chemical Innovation). He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles, and the total number of citations is over 400. The h-index of these publications is 10. The current research interest is electrochemistry of inorganic-based materials such as energy conversion devices based on Li-ion transfer.
