Raúl J. Martín-Palma
Raúl J. Martín-Palma works as a Professor of physics at the Department of Applied Physics, Autonomous University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pa, USA. He received his M.S. degree in applied physics in 1995 and his Ph.D. degree in physics in 2000, both from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ, USA and Visiting Professor at The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Martín-Palma is the author or coauthor of over ninety research papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has received several awards for young scientists for his research on nanostructured materials from the Materials Research Society (USA), European Materials Research Society, and Spanish Society of Materials. He serves as a Member of SPIE.
