Lev Klebanov

Lev Klebanov was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1946. He is a Professor at the Department of Probability and Statistics, Charles University Prague. After finishing his degree at the Department of Applied Mathematics at St. Petersburg State University in 1970, he got his Ph.D. degree in probability and statistics at Steklov Mathematical Institute in 1973 and his D.S. degree at St. Petersburg State University in 1986. His interests include both pure and applied mathematics. Especially, he is interested in cancer modeling, cure models, and statistical analysis of microarrays.
