Carlos A. Aguillar-Salinas

Carlos A. Aguillar-Salinas is Internist and Endocrinologist, trained at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias M&#xE9 dcias y Nutrici ón, Mexico City. He holds a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Atherosclerosis and Lipid Metabolism of the School of Medicine, Washington University (St Louis, Miss, EUA). He is the author of 185 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He serves as the Vice-Head of the Departamento de Endocrinología y Metabolismo, Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición, Mexico City. Familial combined hyperlipidemia and the epidemiology of lipid disorders are the main area of his research. He is a Member of the Mexican National Academy of Medicine and a the Former President of the Sociedad Mexicana de Nutrición y Endocrinología.
