Li Zuo

Li Zuo was born in Hebei Province, China, in 1964. He received the M.D. degree from Peking University (PKU) Medical Department, China, in 1990. He started his professional work in 1990 as a Physician in PKU First Hospital. From 1995 to 2000, he served as an Attending Doctor in nephrology. From 2001 to 2007, he became an Associated Professor in internal medicine and nephrology. Since 2007, he works as a Professor of internal medicine and nephrology. He is mainly interested in epidemiology and management of chronic kidney disease, registration of end-stage renal disease, and quality of life in patients on blood purification. He serves as the Associated Chief Editor of Chinese Journal of Blood Purification since 2008, and he is a Member of the standing committee of the Chinese Society of Blood Purification and the Chinese Hospital Association.
