Roger Brewer
Roger Brewer holds the position of a Senior Geologist with the State of Hawai'i government, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree in structural geology from the University of Alabama, Ala, USA and completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in the tectonics of southern China at Nanjing University, China. Dr. Brewer specializes in the tectonics of China and in environmental science. He is one of the leading research experts in the investigation of the environmental contamination in the USA, Asia, and South America, including oil and gas fields, mines, numerous types of large and small industry, and the impact of volcanic emissions on human health and the environment. He has served on various grant review committees, including NSF.
