John Atack

John Atack obtained his Ph.D. degree in neurochemical pathology from Newcastle General Hospital, UK, and followed this with a postdoctoral position at the National Institute on Aging at the Bethesda campus of the NIH. He is currently responsible for in vitro mechanistic pharmacology and Alzheimer's disease target identification within the Neuroscience Department of Janssen Pharmaceutical Research and Development in Beerse, Belgium. Prior to joining J&J, he was responsible for in vivo biochemistry in the Department of In Vivo Neuroscience at the Merck Sharp & Dohme Neuroscience Research Centre in Harlow, UK.
