Michael H. Hsieh
Michael H. Hsieh is an Assistant Professor (University Tenure Line) of urology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He obtained both his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees (immunology) from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pa, USA, and completed internship and residency at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Hsieh completed his fellowship in pediatric urology at Baylor College of Medicine. He runs an NIH-funded research program focused on urinary tract infections and bladder inflammation. Dr. Hsieh is a member of Stanford's Interdisciplinary Program in Immunology. He also leads the Chronic Infection Working Group of the Stanford Institute for Immunity, Transplantation, and Infection. Dr. Hsieh is the Administrative Director for the prenatal, stone and metabolism, and minimally invasive surgery programs for the Pediatric Urology Clinic at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford.
