Leyla Ozgener

Leyla Ozgener is an Associate Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department at Celal Bayar University. She is also the Head of the Energy Program at the same university. She is currently a visiting Professor at the Cornell Energy Institute, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA. Ozgener received an Energy Management certificate from the Turkish General Directorate of Electrical Power Resources Survey and Development Administration. She completed her Ph.D. degree on energy, exergy, and exergoeconomic analyses of geothermal district heating systems in 2005. She has published several articles about thermodynamics, energy, renewable energies, and geothermal energy systems in various prestigious international journals. She has served as a consultant in cases involving her research area and is also an active editorial member of Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Elsevier. She has 66 referred journals, conference papers, and 3 international book chapters.
