Xingjiang Xiong works at the Cardiovascular Department of Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. He received the Ph.D. degree in China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and obtained his Doctorate on Clinical Specialty of Integrative Western and Chinese Medicine (IWCM). Concurrently, he serves as member of the Specialty Committee of cardiovascular disease of China Association of Chinese Medicine. He is invited to serve as an Editorial Board member of the World Journal of Methodology (WJM), VRI-Phytomedicine, and World Journal of Clinical Cases. He is also a peer reviewer of several international journals including Complementary Therapies in Medicine, African Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, the China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, Minerva Cardioangiologica, Academia Journal of Educational Research, etc. He is also invited to serve as review experts of Health and Medical Research Fund under the Government of the HKSAR. By energetically adopting advanced concepts and technologies of modern medicine and continuous innovation, he is specialized in cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), syndrome and formula syndrome of TCM. At present, 58 academic articles were published, among which 15 papers were included in SCI. Total impact factor is more than 60.
