Paolo Giacomo Arduino received the D.D.S. degree (2000) from the University of Turin, Turin, Italy. Since 2000, he has been a Staff Member of the Department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology at the Molinette Hospital, University of Turin, Italy. Since 2001, he has been appointed as an Honorary Clinical Assistant and Contract Research Assistant and, since 2004, as a Contract Seminar Lecturer at the Section of Oral Medicine, School of Dentistry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Turin, Italy. He also works in his own successful general dental practice. Since 2011, he has been appointed as an Academic Researcher at the School of Medicine, University of Turin, Italy. He gained his M.S. degree in oral medicine from the UCL, London, UK, in 2004. He was awarded the Young Scientist Awards at the 8th Biennial Congress of the EAOM in Berlin, Germany (2006). He was an Invited Speaker at the 9th Biennial Congress of the EAOM (Salzburg, Austria, in 2008), at the V Worldwide Workshop in Oral Medicine (London, UK, in 2010), and at the VI Worldwide Workshop in Oral Medicine (Orlando, FL, USA, in 2014). His major research interests are bullous diseases, oral cancer, viral infections, and bone diseases. He has published more than 45 papers in national and international scientific peer-reviewed journals.
