Kenji Kusumoto received the M.D. degree from the National Tottori University in 1980, the Special License of plastic and reconstructive surgery from the Japanese Society of PRS, and the Ph.D. degree from the Kansai Medical University. Currently, he serves as a Director and Professor at the Department of PRS at Kansai Medical University. He has the Special Licenses of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Cranio-Maxillofaical Surgery, Burn, Anti-Aging, Wound Healing, Cancer Treatment Teaching, Skin Tumor Surgery Director. Kusumoto is one Director of the Japanese Society of PRS, Japanese Society of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, Simulation Surgery, and PRS Technique. He serves as the President of Japanese society of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, and AOCMF, Japan (AO Foundation Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery of Japan), the Japanese Meeting of Eyelid and Eye Socket Surgery, and the Japanese Meeting of PRP Therapy. Kusumoto has focused on the specialities of PRS field; cleft lip and palate, maxillofacial surgery, burn, flap operation, eyelid surgery, antiaging, and regenerative medicine, for example PRP, and ASCs, BMP and others. He has published a number of peer-reviewed articles along with clinical researches in the same fields. He released the Japanese books Hallow Baby, for nonseen baby with cleft, and Introduction into PRP Therapy. His research has been funded by Grants from the Scientific Foundation of Japanese Ministry of Health and Labour and Kansai Medical University. In recent years, he has been invited as a Lecturer of PRP therapy or craniomaxillofacial surgery in European and Asia-Pacific universities, scientific congresses, and clinical institutes.
