Sheng Zhang

Sheng Zhang was born in Liaoning, China, in 1975. He received the M.A. degree in basic mathematics from Bohai University, Liaoning, China, and the Ph.D. degree candidate in applied mathematics from Dalian University of Technology, Liaoning, China, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. Since 1998, he serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics in Bohai University. In 2001, he was a Research Fellow at the Bohai University. From 2006 to 2008, he was one of the Academic Cadres at the Bohai University and was appointed as the Academic Leader in 2009. In 2009, he was selected as one of the Bai Qian Wan Talents of Liaoning Province. Presently, he works as an Associate Professor of basic mathematics, the key subject of Liaoning Province. He is mainly interested in partial differential equations: exact solutions, soliton theory, and integrable system and symbolic computation. In 2007, he received the Natural Scientific Academic Accomplishment Award of Liaoning Province. In 2009, one of his papers was evaluated as the top 100 most cited Chinese papers published in international journals. He serves as the Chairman of 1th minisymposium of 2007 International Symposium on nonlinear dynamics, in 2007, Shanghai, China. He has been a Member in the Editorial Boards of the International Journal of Nonlinear Sciences and Numerical Simulation, Nonlinear Science Letters A-Mathematics, Physics and Mechanics, International Journal of Nonlinear Dynamics in Engineering and Sciences, and Journal of Bohai University (Natural Science Edition).
