Chun Wang

Chun Wang received his Ph.D. degree in bioengineering from the University of Utah and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) before joining the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota as an Assistant Professor in 2004. His research program has focused on developing polymeric biomaterials for medical applications including drug delivery, gene therapy, and stem cell therapy. He is the recipient of a Career Award from the National Science Foundation, an Early Career Translational Award from the Coulter Foundation, and the McKnight Land-Grant Professorship from the University of Minnesota.
