Yun Wu is a Pathologist, subspecializing in breast pathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She received her M.D. degree from Shanghai Medical College and her Ph.D. degree in molecular pathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, in 1991 and 1999, respectively. She completed her pathology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and her oncologic pathology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY, USA. She has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals and serves as an Editorial Board Member for several medical research journals. Her research interests are to identify potential biomarkers for breast cancer diagnosis and prognosis and to identify therapeutic targets for mechanism-based, individualized cancer therapy.
