Bijan Bagchi

Bijan Bagchi was born in 1950 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India. He has a variety of research interests and involvements ranging from spectral problems in quantum mechanics, exactly solvable models, supersymmetric methods, PT-symmetry, and related non-Hermitian phenomenology to nonlinear dynamics and integrable models. He has published more than 100 research articles in journals of international repute. He is currently Professor in applied mathematics at the University of Calcutta.
