Biosketch of Professor Wen-Ching Wang B.S. 1983; National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China M.S. 1985; University of California, Santa Barbara, USA Ph.D. 1992; California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California, USA (Dr. P. J. Bjorkman’s lab) Dr. Wang joined the faculty of National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1992. She is currently a professor in the Department of Life Science and Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology at NTHU. She has served as Director at Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology (2008-2011) as well as Director of Center for BioMedical Sciences and Engineering (2009-2011) in NTHU. She has worked extensively in the molecular pathogenesis and resistance mechanism of Helicobacter pylori, structure-based discovery of inhibitors against H. pylori and structure-function relationship of enzymes. Professor, Department of Life Science and Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology at NTHU, Taiwan. Research interests: structure-based discovery of inhibitors against Helicobacter pylori and structure-function relationship of enzymes.
