Guergana S. Mollova

Guergana S. Mollova received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees both in electronics from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria. Since 1992, she is with the Department of Computer-Aided Engineering of the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of Sofia, where she is currently an Associate Professor. Her main research area is digital signal processing theory and methods, including the least-squares approach for one- and multidimensional digital filters, digital differentiators, and Hilbert transformers. During the last years, her research interests are focused on application aspects of digital filtering techniques for analysis of data records from strong-motion earthquakes. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and also a Member of several national professional organizations. She is a recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Fellowship.
