Victor Borovkov

Victor Borovkov was born in Moscow, Russia in 1961. he received a Ph.D. degree from the Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology in 1988, was a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at the Osaka University working with Professor Yoshiteru Sakata in 1991–1993, then performed independent research work for different scientific organizations throughout Japan. He has current affiliation with the Osaka University and Metek Kitamura Co., Ltd., is a Member of the Editorial Boards of Symmetry and The Open Conference Proceedings Journal, is an author of 94 research papers and reviews and 10 patents, is serving as an external peer reviewer of various international journals and scientific foundations, participated in several international and industrial collaboration projects, and attended numerous international and national conferences as an invited speaker. The areas of expertise of Borovkov are chemistry of porphyrins and related macrocycles, supramolecular chemistry, nano- and chirality science, and functional chiral materials.
