Jianbo Yu received B.E. degree from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang, China, in 2002, the M.E. degree from the Department of Mechanical Automation Engineering, Shanghai University, Shanghai, China, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China, in 2009. In 2008, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Intelligent Maintenance System, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH, USA. He was an Associate Researcher and Head of Industrial Engineering at the Department of Mechanical Automation Engineering, Shanghai University, from 2011 to 2013. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Tongji University, Shanghai, China. Yu’s current research interests include intelligent condition-based maintenance, manufacturing process control, machine learning, and statistical analysis. His research interests are characterized by the application of novel signal processing, statistics, and machine learning techniques to a wide variety of important manufacturing process control and machine intelligent maintenance problems in science and engineering. He has written over forty published papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
