Stefania Ciolli

Stefania Ciolli was born on October 23, 1954. She graduated in medicine at Florence University, Italy, in October 1980. She received postgraduate degrees both in hematology and in clinical immunology from Florence University, Italy, in November 1984 and November 1987, respectively. She has worked at the Hematology Unit, Careggi Hospital, since 1990. Moreover, she has been a Professor of hematology of the postgraduate course of hematology, Florence University, since 1994, and she was a Professor of immunology of the postgraduate course of pharmacology, Florence University, from 1997 until 2000. In addition, she is a Member of the American Society of Hematology, the Italian Society of Experimental Hematology, and the International Society of Multiple Myeloma. She is an Investigator in numerous studies on leukemias for the GIMEMA group. Her principal interests include chronic lymphocytic leukemia and multiple myeloma.
