Jean-François Lamonier

University Lille 1, France

Jean-François LAMONIER obtained his Ph.D in Chemistry in 1993 at the University Lille 1 (USTL, France), for research in DeNOx catalysis. After an Assistant Professor position (1996-2007) at the University of Littoral Côte d’Opale (Dunkerque, France) in the Laboratory of Catalysis and Environment, he obtained a full Professor position at USTL in 2007. Professor Jean-François LAMONIER performs research in the field of Environmental catalysis at the Laboratory of Catalysis and of Chemistry of Solid State (UCCS, UMR CNRS 8181). His expertise is the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) catalytic abatement for air treatment (i) by studying the replacement/stabilisation of noble metals in the catalyst (ii) by coupling the heterogeneous catalysis with other technologies (adsorption or cold plasma). At the University Lille 1, Professor Jean-François LAMONIER teaches graduate courses in the fields of (i) thermodynamic and kinetic studies of chemical systems (Licence), (ii) Surface analyses (XPS, Tof-SIMS, LEIS) (Master), and (iii) Industrial Process for the Treatment of Polluted Air (Master).
