Fulvia Bovera graduated in veterinary medicine from University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy. Since 2005 Bovera is Aggregate Professor at Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, University of Naples Federico II. The scientific areas of expertise of Professor Bovera are rabbit and poultry science (breeding, nutrition, meat and egg quality, welfare, etc.). Professor Bovera is author of 160 papers, almost all experimental. The more recent publications are (1) "Effect of dietary amount of inorganic and organic zinc on productive and physiological traits of White Pekin ducks," 2013; (2) "Productive and reproductive performance and egg quality of laying hens fed diets containing different levels of date pits with enzyme supplementations," 2012; and (3) "Use of dietary mannanoligosaccharides during rabbit fattening period: effects on growth performance, feed nutrient digestibility, carcass traits, and meat quality," 2012.
