Chien Hsin Yang

National University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan

Chien Hsin Yang received the Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from the National Cheng-Kung University (from 9/1991 to 6/1994); the B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (from 9/1983 to 6/1985). Yang is currently Professor and Chairman in the Department of Chemical and Materials engineering, National University of Kaohsiung, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Yang is interested in a wide variety of energy materials/nanomaterials (inorganic/organic semiconductors and polymers) prepared via a number of different routes (electrochemical deposition, sol-gel, hydrothermal, molecular self-assembly, etc.) for potential applications in solar cells, optoelectronics, transparent conductive oxide (TCO), electrochromic device, sensor, optical films, photocatalysis, and so forth.
