Meirong Zhao is a Professor of environmental toxicology and chemistry at Zhejiang University of Technology. She received a Ph.D. degree from State Key Laboratory of Reproductive Biology, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2006 in Beijing. In 2010, Zhao was a visiting scholar of Department of Chemistry at University of Houston and a senior visiting scholar of School of Public Health at Harvard University in 2013 in Boston. Dr. Zhao’s research interests focus on environmental fate and risk assessment of pesticides, enantioselective environmental safety and health risk of chiral pesticides, method development for toxicity analysis of pesticides, and evaluation and development of the best management practices of drinking water.
