Axayácatl Rocha-Olivares

Dr. Rocha-Olivares research interests are focused in understanding the patterns and processes of marine biodiversity. For most part his research has dealt with the use of molecular approaches to studying the evolution and ecology of marine vertebrates and invertebrates. Specific topics of interested include: molecular evolution and ecology, phylogenetics and molecular systematics, phylogeography, population genetics, conservation genetics, and community ecology.
