Giovanni Gadda
Giovanni Gadda received his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, in 1995, from the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy. He was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in 1995 at Konstanz Universitat, Germany, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 1995 to 2000 at Texas A&M University, USA. In 2000, Gadda joined the faculty at the Department of Chemistry of Georgia State University, Atlanta. He has authored more than sixty peer-reviewed articles, guest edited a special issue on Oxidative Enzymes for Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics, founded, chaired, and organized the Annual Southeast Enzyme Conference. Gadda's research interests include flavin-dependent enzymes, redox enzymes, oxidases, dehydrogenases, enzyme kinetics, kinetic isotope effects, mechanistic enzymology, pH effects, rapid kinetics, and steady-state kinetics.
