Sever Dragomir

Sever Silverstru Dragomir received his Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the Timisoara University, Romania, in 1995 with a dissertation in best approximation theory. Presently, he is the Chair of the Theory of Mathematical Inequalities at Victoria University and the Chair of the Research Group in Mathematical Inequalities and Applications (RGMIA, http://www.staff.vu.edu.au/rgmia/) comprising more than 1200 associated members from all over the world. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the internationally edited, peer-refereed journals: Journal of Inequalities in Pure and Applied Mathematics (JIPAM, http://jipam.vu.edu.au/) and the Australian Journal of Mathematical Analysis ands Applications (AJMAA, http://ajmaa.org/index.php). In addition, he is a member of the editorial boards of more than 25 prestigious journals from North America, Europe, and Asia. Dragomir is the Editor of the book collection Inequalities Theory & Applications published by Nova Science Publishers, New York. He is an editor of 8 books and the author of 6 books, 20 chapters of books, and more than 600 research articles in refereed journals (Home, http://www.staff.vu.edu.au/rgmia/dragomir/).
